The goals of this training are to ensure that guardians, family members and students can work with their CSE to collaboratively:
1. Assess their child’s strengths, interests, and needs;
2. Establish measurable postsecondary goals and annual goals; and
3. Identify appropriate transition services and coordinated activities.

About Your Hosts

Cyndi is a Professional Development Specialist with the School Age Family and Community Engagement Center with 36 years in Special Education.  Cyndi has previously served in both a specialized agency school and a large urban district.

Julia Duerr, a Transition Specialist with Erie 1 BOCES Campus and Centers, has over 15 years of experience working with students, families and communities identifying and addressing needs to support positive interactions and outcomes for the future.
