Parent’s Guide To Special Education – Two-Part Training Workshop via Zoom

- Gain understanding about procedures, NYS regulations, and strategies to promote a parent’s understanding and participation in an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
meeting. - This course is required to receive a Parent Member Certificate to support a parent of a child with a disability in an IEP meeting.
Part 1: Online videos & activities. Complete at least 1 day prior to Live Zoom Session.
Part 2: Wednesday, May 24th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Live Zoom session.
