For parents and caregivers, this workshop will teach you how to effectively communicate with your child’s school or
other professionals about your child with a disability. The session offers plans and tools to help you to work together
with people who can help your child or student be successful, and it will help you to feel more comfortable.

Cyndi Clark is a Professional Development Specialist with the School Age Family and Community Engagement Center at Parent Network of WNY and has previously served in both a specialized agency school and a large urban district with 36 years in Special Education.

Tonia Weichmann is a Resource and Referral Specialist with the School Age Family and Community Engagement Center at Parent Network of WNY, with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families on a wide variety of concerns associated with Learning Differences and Transitioning.
