FREE Annual Buffalo Conference sponsored by Albany’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) thru funding provided by the NYS Education Department. Held at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott. in Amherst  NY . FREE.

Part 1: 8:00 am – 11:00 – adaptive skills – which ones are difficult for individuals with ASD.   Adaptive skills are more important than cognitive level.   formulating goals and identify strategies to teach skills.

11:00-12:00 Lunch on your own

Part 2: 12:00 – 3:00 Promoting Academic Success in Students with ASD: Improving Re

Registration will not be accepted by phone. Preregistration on line is REQUIRED.   You can also print out registration and fax it to 518-442-4834. There is NO CHARGE for parents and professionals who are residents of New York State. $15 charge for CEUs. Highly recommended that you print handouts and bring to workshop.
