About Your Host:  Dr. Marcus Thomeer is Co-Director of the Institute for Autism Research (IAR) and an Assistant Professor at Canisius College.  Prior to his work at Canisius, Dr. Thomeer was the Director of Research and Program Evaluation at Summit Educational Resources in Buffalo, New York.  He has extensive experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating psychosocial interventions for autism spectrum disorders.
