A dynamic and interactive day, using real life examples, that will provide insight and tools to increase your “Power to Relate” to others in the challenging circumstances that you face.
Families and Professionals will learn:
- communication skills surrounding challenging behaviors of individuals with disabilities.
- evidence-based techniques and tools to increase their ability respond to the challenges they face.
- strategies to create the change they desire and better relate to upset, fatigue and burnout.
Registration starts at 8:30 am and lunch will be provided.

A positive psychology, family systems, Behavioral Therapist who has worked closely with individuals who have developmental disabilities and their families to understand, reduce and transform challenging behavior and heal the emotional issues which often occur in the family.
